The essence of what makes New York City great is that it brings people together, which makes this moment particularly difficult. It’s hard to be separated from each other—from what drew us to the five boroughs in the first place.
But we have hope for better days that will reunite us. That hope comes through in acts of bravery and sacrifice, moments of caring, and displays of gratitude.
We are strong and resilient, and are already preparing for the day when we get to look up again and welcome each other and the world back to our home. Stronger than ever.
Brighter than before. Together as always.
